KLM Royal Dutch Airlines was founded on October 7, 1919 to serve the Netherlands and its colonies. Today, KLM is still the oldest airline operating under its original name. With 32,000 employees, KLM is dedicated to providing innovative products and a safe, efficient, service-oriented operation to its customers. KLM operates a fleet of 115 aircraft, serving approximately 145 destinations with scheduled passenger and cargo services.
KLM wanted to promote flights to Amsterdam, their main hub, and to take off from Istanbul with full flights.
To achieve this, we organized a social media campaign. We offered our followers the chance to go to Amsterdam with someone they wanted, to the city of fun and happiness. The concept was simple. We asked them to enter their information on the campaign website and invite someone by providing their email address. At the end of the campaign, we gave ten couples a chance to win round-trip tickets to Amsterdam. As a result of the campaign, KLM’s Facebook and Instagram pages significantly increased followers, and we collected nearly 10,000 email addresses.
